Wrongful amputation of a leg:

Swabs not removed post-operatively:

After a difficult childbirth a mother continued to have difficulties for a long time after the child was born. It was ultimately discovered that a swab had not been removed post-operatively. Ronan Kennedy successfully concluded High Court proceedings to recover damages for the trauma and pain suffered by the new mother.
